How can the H1N1 flu be tackled?

It is a fully treatable disease like any other FLU and not a dangerous one if handled properly.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when coughing or sneezing.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth repeatedly. Germs tend to get transmitted easier that way.
  • Limit contact with infected people.
• Keep washing your hands frequently with soap (Preferably antiseptics – Savlon, Dettol etc.)
• Avoid touching your respiratory area (Mouth and Nose)
• Avoid meeting people having colds and coughs.
• Avoid public gatherings, the place where diseases spread unknowingly.
• Avoid visiting patients in hospitals
• Keep the surroundings clean, ventilated, dry and always use washed cloths.
• Allow the patient to rest without visitors disturbing them.
